Dressing an octopus

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of taking photos of this beautiful family - all 3 generations. It helps that they are also friends of mine, so we all had a great time by the seaside on this lovely August evening.
I won't lie, it was tricky getting everyone to look at the camera at the same time. It was a bit like dressing an octopus - you get one leg in and another one pops out - but the family are really pleased with the end results. I managed to get a few shots of the entire family before we broke out and took smaller group photos. The older children are at an active age, but they behaved brilliantly, looking at me when told to, jumping when asked, and even helping out behind the camera when it wasn't their turn. When taking pictures of the smaller family groups I could really feel the love everyone had for each other, which made my job so much easier. I couldn't have asked for better clients.
The family have very kindly agreed that I can share some photos online (thank you so much!), so please enjoy the photos.
